When we started Tantrum Volleyball in 2006, our goal was to create "volleyball t shirts" for players all over the world. We were disappointed that other companies were only making lame slogan tees for little kids like the famous "Chicks DIG Volleyball" shirt. Uh...yeah...we get it...and it's painfully lame. We wanted to make "stylish t shirts" for players that view the sport as a part of their lifestyle. Our "retro t shirts" and "graphic t shirts" feature bold designs inspired by the game we love. Now we're making "trucker hats", "knit caps" and even custom team t-shirts. Every player deserves to look good and feel good on the court or out in the street. Wait a second, didn't we just say Tantrum Volleyball was a volleyball t-shirt company? No doubt, but we also created our first "volleyball uniform" in time for the 2009 season. Our performance apparel uses moisture-wicking technology like Under Armour and NIKE. But there is a big difference between Tantrum and the other team uniform suppliers. Instead of selling our "team uniforms" to distributors and online retailers, we decided to sell directly to our customers and make our "volleyball jerseys" more affordable. We believe that teams shouldn't have to purchase through middle-men who jack up the price of every product.
